• referrals to WH fetal medicine outpatient clinic / genetic counsellor via fax to extension 50700 is appropriate for women with either:
  • confirmed foetal abnormality
  • PH major foetal abnormalitiy (eg. cardiac, brain)
  • confirmed viral seroconversion during pregnancies (eg. CMV, parvovirus, toxoplasmosis)
  • increased risk of aneuploidy on MSST or combined screening
  • advanced maternal age who are considering invasive testing
  • known carrier of genetic syndrome (eg. Thalassaemia, cystic fibrosis)
