- incubation period up to 3 weeks
- 1 week prodrome of fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, dizziness, and malaise
- clinical features following prodrome:
- mucosal haemorrhage
- haemorrhagic rash
- multi-organ failure
- disseminated intravascular coagulopathy (DIC)
